In the Navy
MB1 has gone (again).
Cleaned his room....kind of catharitic.
Oh God....it was disgusting!
Thought that it would be easier this time but, it's not. (Probably more scared this time that he's going to fail)
LoveRod and his MadLad are over for the nite.....they are currently watching their 4th episode of Family Guy I'm hoping to dissuade them from staying another nite.
Managed to sneak off and finish my book.....
Existential angst.......read it if you're not sure what your existence it about.
An update...feel drawn to blogging again....
What is happening in my life? Am I there yet?
Me and LoveRod are off in Herbie for our hols this year. (if the van's a rockin, don't come knockin!)
LoveRod is madly in love with me. (He has not packed me in for 3 years)
The MadBoys are madder than ever. (MadBoy1 is off to the Navy again this week)
I have an ensuite bathroom. (And a new house)
I am still almost killing myself at work. (Never consider working in further education unless you are a sadist)

Holidays!
One whole week with no work 
Have been celebrating all weekend......now have a sore head and am very thirsty 
My hair straighteners have broken so am going cold turkey....but fear that I look more like 'Ugly Betty' than
Time??
Possibly the fastest holiday ever...!!!
Life is speeding up.....I have an overwhelming sense that there is so little time and so much to do, feel and experience.
I have 4 days left of my holiday before I go back to work.
The things that I wanted to do in the last 2 weeks are:
- Decorate the MadBoys room (done )
- Clean my kitchen (properly) (not done) )
- Prep human biology = 10 hours (not done )
- Mark some suff = 3 hours (not done )
- Learn all about teamworking (am teaching it and don't have a clue) (not done )
- Have a lovely holiday in Amsterdam with LoveRod (done
)

Took a little time out from my own job to check out someone elses....visited 'De Wallen' in Amsterdam.

I'm not a nurse anymore.
MB1 has joined the navy.
LoveRod still loves me.
I'm going to Amsterdam, Spain, New York and Las Vegas this year...this is the view from my hotel window.......

It occured to me today that I will be 44 in 3 months time. Suppose I'm reaching that age when all sorts of regrets start to surface.
My day........
Woke up at 9.30 (reasonable......am on holiday)
Read a book about Freud.....tried to make sense of it all (am teaching Freud this term)
Got up at 12.00 (still confused and quite frankly turned on!)
Did my virtual skipping (thing which I invented today.....is easy!)
Virtual Skipping
- put Avril Lavine CD on
- make sure you are wearing a bra (is uncomfortable to skip without one!)
- as music starts pretend that you have a skipping rope and skip along to the music
The good thing about virtual skipping is that, without the constraints of a rope, you can do air guitar and various other arm movements in time to the music.
